How to take pictures of a dog...
Make sure your dog is relaxed and not extremely playful.
Look for a large window in your house that does not have DIRECT sunlight coming through.
For even lighting, face your dog directly toward the window.
Look for "catchlights" in the eyes...make sure they are there.
Finally, choose an old dog who is too tired to get up and only has enough energy to lift her ears when a piece of old pizza crust is waved above the camera!!
